Momma booked us a night at Catalina Island and it was so much fun. We left Long Beach port on Monday September 4 in the morning via Catalina Express. Momma made sure to take Dramamine so she didn’t get seasick but unfortunately it was too late for Lincoln who threw up on the way there. He recovered quickly and we ate lunch at the Lobster Trap. After lunch, we quickly checked in to Hermosa Hotel, changed into our swimming gear and hit the beach! Lincoln decided to enjoy the inner tube and he was so brave doing it. We then ate dinner at Topside and walked around the town in chase of some brownies from Vons. That night, momma got some really good sleep because the Dramamine was still in her system.

The next morning we ate breakfast at Pancake Cottage and everyone agreed that Momma makes waaay better chocolate pancakes than the restaurant. Luckily for us, the golf cart rental shop was right next to the restaurant so off we go touring the city in style. We rode up and saw Catalina Island from up top and soaked in all the beautiful sceneries. We made a quick pit stop at our hotel to pack up and check out of our rooms, dropped off our luggage at the lobby and continued the city tour on our golf cart. We went to the famous Catalina Chimes Tower and to the entrance of the botanical garden but decided not to go in because we were almost running out of time and had to return the golf cart.

After returning the golf cart, Sebastian and I played basketball at a nearby court. Not many people can say they played basketball at Catalina Island. Since it was an overcast day, we all decided not to play on the beach but instead played miniature golf at ‘Golf Gardens.’ It was by far the coolest miniature golf we’ve ever played at. Momma decided to sit this one out but she was there by our side at every hole. We all had so much fun! After that, we grabbed a quick lunch at the “Naughty Fox” and I’d have to say that it was one of the most delicious places we ate at during our trip. We then walked to the pier to board our Catalina Express. Luckily nobody got sick on the ride home and Beckett, Lincoln and I were lucky enough to see the dolphins swim next to our ferry. Daddy unfortunately didn’t get much rest because he had a flight to catch to Phoenix, Arizona that night for work. But that’s ok because I had sooo much fun with everyone at Catalina Island.
