The Kitajimas (Eyang Toshi, Eyang Warti, Oom Roumi and Tante Tami) came all the way from Japan and Atlanta, GA to visit us and it couldn’t have been a better way to celebrate momma’s birthday, Christmas and the end of 2023. It was so great seeing everyone again! First, everyone gathered at our house and Ibu brought a homecooked traditional Indonesian feast for momma’s birthday. The next day, daddy and momma spent the day with Oom Roumi and Tante Tami to explore downtown LA and to hang out with one of Oom Roumi’s best friend, Kerry Tamura. We met up with everyone on Saturday for dinner at Newport Seafood restaurant. We had calamari, fish, fried rice, clams, vegetables and everything was super delicious. We ended the night at Eyang and Ibu’s house and drove back home to Huntington Beach afterwards.
We are so thankful to be able to celebrate December 2023 with the Kitajimas. Thank you for visiting us and we’ll see you next time!
